Marketo’s Marketing Nation Summit: Social Analytics Overview


This year, Marketo’s 2016 Marketing Nation Summit was held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The Summit was three full days of learning, including best practices, hands on marketo training, and insightful sessions showcasing the latest trends, technologies and methodologies from marketers around the world. We even got to get jiggy with Will Smith!

We pulled the online social data surrounding The Marketing Nation Summit and found some interesting social insights, including the top keynote speakers driving the conversation on social. Spoiler alert…Will Smith takes the title of #1.


Who’s doing the talking?


Throughout the duration of the conference, the gender breakdown was a close call, but our data shows that men were posting about the conference more on social media than women.


What are they interested in?


If you attended The Marketing Nation Summit, we’d HOPE that you were interested in marketing. We also found that these attendees were interested in technology, strategy, business, and B2B.


Top keynote speaker breakdown:


A whopping 42.32% of the social share of voice went to Will Smith. His keynote included inspirational comments, marketing tips, and a bit of comedy. It’s also safe to say that he got “jiggy” with it on stage.
