As the Global Leader of Ipsos Social Intelligence Analytics (SIA) since 2017, Leendert directs Synthesio day-to-day operations and coordinates SIA’s two strategic business units – technology & services. He holds degrees in Political Sciences from the University of Louvain in Belgium and from Science Po, (Paris Institute of Political Studies) and has over 20 years of experience in market research, more than half of which has been focused on social intelligence. He is a speaker in various international conferences and has been a special advisor to European institutions. Leendert is passionate about art and spends his spare time in museums and art galleries to discover new talents.
Karine FillionDeputy Managing Director
Karine brings 23 years of experience in offering clients or organizations up to date methods, tools or expertise to better seize the power of (digital) technology, and benefit from the knowledge, insight and decision empowerment only data can give. Karine benefits from 7 years managing IT services companies and partnering with software editors added indepth understanding of the technical stakes and decisional process in client organizations, long term and short term, as well as running tech teams, projects, and companies.
Karine is a mother of 3, a true Italy lover, fond of pop rock music, travel – all of that preferably shared with friends.
Chris HalvorsenChief Revenue Officer
Chris oversees business development, sales, account management, and sales operations to support the growing market demand for the Synthesio Social Intelligence Suite. Chris has 15 years of sales leadership experience and has held multiple sales leadership positions at both startups and public companies. Outside of work, Chris likes to spend time with his wife and three great kids.
Lauren O'ConnorVP of Global Client Management
Lauren oversees global client management. She ensures Synthesio clients are provided with the best support, onboarding programs, and tools to fit their needs. Lauren has more than 15 years experience in account management and marketing across various industries and firms including Teradata and Ford Motor Company. During her spare time, Lauren enjoys travel, music, and scuba diving.
Julien PléeChief Technology Officer
Julien drives innovation, including multilingual information retrieval, automated content extraction, and natural language processing. He ensures Synthesio engineers execute on the product roadmap and vision. Julien has ten years experience leading engineering teams in the French startup space. Before Synthesio, he worked as a Deputy CTO managing 80 developers. During his spare time, Julien enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, and dancing Latin dances.
Sacha VaguelsyVP of Products
Sacha is in charge of running the end-to-end product lifecycle. Sacha’s team is the bridge between engineering and customers, running all aspects of the product including product releases, roadmap and vision. Sacha has seven years of experience in B2B tech with companies of all sizes. Outside of work, Sacha enjoys many activities, including being a movie aficionado, building his furniture, and playing lots of video games.
Allen BondeChief Marketing Officer
Allen comes to Synthesio from Forrester, and brings more than 20 years of marketing experience at high growth SaaS and services organizations. He started his career as a researcher in AI and machine learning, and did early work on digital transformation at McKinsey and his own firm. He has also held leadership roles at several start-ups, and was CMO and co-founder of social marketing pioneer Offerpop (now Wyng), and VP of marketing and innovation for the analytics business at OpenText. He has been quoted in over 150 publications around the globe, has given talks on 4 continents, and is a graduate of WPI and the University of Virginia. In his spare time Allen enjoys beach time with his family, and plays a mean bass guitar.
