Forrester Again Names Synthesio a Leader in Enterprise Social Listening
“As the landscape of social technology develops, social listening platforms prove their value beyond simple brand monitoring by doubling down on analytics and surfacing insights that can be used across the enterprise.” With that sentence, The Forrester Wave™: Enterprise Social Listening Platforms, Q1 2016 report begins to discuss the Social Media Listening industry, and it is clear what it takes to lead the industry: an ability to provide insights and analytics that connect social back to business impact. Here at Synthesio we agree.
We are excited to announce that Synthesio has been named a Leader in both The Forrester Wave™: Enterprise Social Listening Platforms, Q1 2016 report and The Forrester Wave™: Asia Pacific Enterprise Social Listening Platforms, Q1 2016 report.
So the big question: Why have we been cited as a Leader by Forrester in back-to-back Waves (The Forrester Wave™: Enterprise Social Listening Platforms, Q1 2014 and The Forrester Wave™: Enterprise Social Listening Platforms, Q1 2016)?
We believe the answer lies in a few of the key report highlights. First and foremost, recognition of a strategy based on tying social performance back to the business. This means two fundamental strategies; focusing on metrics that connect to business results, as well as tracking data across many platforms, teams and systems – an open platform philosophy. Taking this one step further, it is about partnering with our clients from the very beginning to align their social plans to their business goals and units.
Synthesio was cited for a “strategic vision and roadmap focused on the potential of social listening and on metrics that tie to business results”, as well as “[s]ynthesio’s ability to align social listening data with a firm’s other business data enables its clients to quickly mature their listening programs. This is achieved primarily through the strong ecosystem of partnerships Synthesio has built with vendors, as well as an extensive API that supports merging all forms of business data.”
In fact, the report noted that we have moved beyond this, as the only vendor that was that spoke specifically about “trying to help establish industry standards, an example being the Social Reputation Score that helps marketers track and communicate social data more eloquently by giving them a metric that correlates to Net Promoter Score (NPS).” We believe this to be the future of Social Intelligence, and we are excited to help set the standard for tying Social performance to key business results.
We are also particularly delighted to see our happy customers highlighted, “Lauded for its account management, customer references speak highly of Synthesio’s services — one said, “We selected Synthesio because we had a gut feeling we’d be a number one priority. We were right.”
It is worth noting that we are not planning to slow down in any way, as this report comes on the heels of two recent exciting announcements and innovations from Synthesio. The first is our 2nd generation Social Media Command Center, Synthesio Beam, designed to distribute data, and elevate insights throughout your organization. The second is Synthesio 3.0, a complete reimagining and redesign of the Synthesio platform and API, to further help customers align social data with other their key business data.
We have been a part of building this industry from the very beginning, so being recognized with top scores in categories such as Current Offering and Corporate Strategy is a great reminder of why we are doing this, and why we are continuing to push harder. As Forrester says “Social listening has moved well beyond just looking for buzz, and now informs marketing content and product innovation, as well as measures brand health.” We believe this is the future of Social Intelligence and we are excited to help solidify the role of social data in smarter businesses.
