Hello from Synthesio, an Ipsos company at Booth 513 at MarTech East in Boston! For the past three days, we’ve chatted with marketing professionals interested in measuring their company’s social footprint through customer intelligence.
At MarTech East this year, the agenda was jam-packed. We attended insightful presentations on emerging marketing technologies, customer intelligence, and lead generation among other frontiers in the marketing technology industry.
With over 6,000 forward-thinking leaders in the industry, MarTech gathered everyone in one place to share their opinions on the latest trends, technologies, and tips.
Some not-to-miss sessions included Scott Brinker’s keynote address, “Platforming Marketing: Marketing Operations as an Organizational Platform.” During his talk, Brinker challenged marketers to reimagine internal marketing operations.
To Brinker, marketing should be a platform where all employees are potential producers. They should have the tools to create assets posed to win over prospects using customer intelligence.
We also loved hearing from Chris Penn, co-founder and chief data scientist at Trust Insights in his talk, “5 Practical, Real-World Applications of AI in Marketing.” He covered how AI can streamline research and identify influencers. It included many tips on how to focus on strategies and improve planning.
Over 87% of conversation online about the conference started on Twitter. This confirms the fact that social media data is here to stay.
Social influencers at the event also connected with others interested in optimizing customer intelligence by utilizing new marketing technology. A large amount of conversation occurred online while conference-goers mingled and met each other.
Attendees this year will be sure not to miss the next MarTech. Next time is sure to have even more networking opportunities, thoughtful presentations, and customer intelligence insights. We would also love to pick up some more of the awesome swag from other vendors present!
